My name is, Louis Bautista, and it is an honor to assist you in living life more fully.

I am originally from the Philippines, moved to Canada in January 2009, with my wife (Chato) and 3 children (Maddie, Anna and Daniel).

I am a certified, licensed and fully registered with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario.  I also a certified medical acupuncturist.

In October 2017, I finally got hold onto my Diploma of Osteopathic Manipulative Practitioner (DOMP) at the Southern Ontario College of Osteopathy.

The bottom line for me is this; it is my greatest honor, joy and privilege to provide a quality of massage therapy and Osteopathic Manipulative care that alleviates discomfort and increases vitality for every client I touch.

I values the benefits that osteopathic care and massage therapy provides in reducing stress, tension and pain.  My goal as a Therapist is to assist in the restoration of your good health and function.

My most commonly utilized modalities are sports massage, myofascial release, active stretching techniques, soft tissue manipulation, trigger point release, deep tissue, Post-Isometric Relaxation Techniques for TMJ Disorders, manual lymphatic drainage, geriatric massage, pregnancy massage, cupping massage, hot stones massage, Shiatsu and Swedish massage techniques, medical acupuncture and moxibustion therapy.  Now, with the latest modality, the Radial Pulsed Wave Therapy!

With osteopathy - This branch of health considers the body as a whole unit and this holistic medicine is considered as a complete medical discipline, which treats bones, muscles, and the complete body systems. Moreover, it is a non-invasive drug free method which aims to strengthen the musculoskeletal frame work. The main aim of this branch of medicine is to enhance the circulatory system, nervous system, and lymphatic system of the body.

"I was so fascinated with this field of treatments - where our body has the ability to heal and self-regulate and that it is all in one unit - the body, mind, and spirit.  Every dysfunction in our body has a root cause of disease.  The manipulative techniques to use our bones as a lever to remove pressures and restrictions on nerves, ligaments, arteries, veins, and lymphatics in order to restore our body back to normal.

From the Classical Osteopathy of Dr. Andrew Taylor Still,  the Muscle Energy Techniques of Dr. Fred Mitchell, the Counter Strain Techniques of Dr. Laurence Jones and most of all the Visceral techniques of Dr. Jean Pierre Barral, and others. These people and their principles that I have learned have opened my eyes to the world of Osteopathy - that our body is a magical and amazing machine, that should be taken care of."

November 2019! I finally became a Level 2 Concussion Management Provider! I completed the said course specializing on Vestibular and Ocular Rehabilitation Methods for Concussion with Shift Concussion Management Program in Guelph, Ontario.  This modality and rehabilitation program will help athletes and sport-related concussion as well as those working with the general population and non-sport-related concussion.

Testimonials - Louis Bautista RMT

"I am almost hesitant to provide this review publicly because Louis is truly one-of-a-kind and I want to keep him to myself and my circle of friends! Having said that............. I first started going to Louis about five years ago. I had lived overseas and as such, had had a multitude of massage experiences. Once I started with Louis I realized that those other massage therapists paled dramatically in comparison to Louis. His extensive knowledge and experience enables him to zero in on the problem area even though you might not know where the trigger point is! I truly believe he also has an innate gift. He has tremendously reduced my migraine frequencies and any other ailments that come along. He is highly professional, thorough and genuinely cares about your recovery and well-being. He is a gem and I feel honoured to be counted as a regular client of his practice."
Eva Dagmar-Grieco (Kitchener - Jul. 24, 2017)

"I've been a client of Louis since 2011. I'd been skeptical of the benefits of massage therapy until I had some sessions with Louie for my back and neck pain. In my view, what sets him apart from other practitioners is his undivided attention to his client's individual needs and his genuine concern for his patient's health and well-being. Very customer client-centered, skillful, and highly professional!"
John de Guzman (Milton - Oct. 21, 2012)

"I was recently treated by Louis for chronic tight muscles. He combines a few techniques, some of which I have never had with other massage
therapists that I found very effective. I was pleased that he was able to apply just the right amount of pressure, making me feel relaxed,
and not feeling sore the next day. Since then, I have recommended his services to anyone looking for a massage therapist. Louis is an excellent registered massage therapist! I would highly recommend him to any of my family or friends."
Dr. Lisa Ramsackal (Oakville - Oct. 23, 2012)

"My wife started massage treatment with Louis when she got nerves pain due to pregnancy.  Louis showed great knowledge in treating pregnancy “side effects”. We also strongly believe that couple months of pre-natal massage made actual delivery easier. Based on our and our friends experience we would sincerely recommend Louis for his knowledge and experience. Thank you Louis!"
Olya & Igor Kunovsky (Mississauga - October 23, 2012)

"I am lucky to have Louis Bautista as my massage therapist. Without any hesitation he can add to his business card the title "Magician". After each treatment session I feel myself as newly born, recharged, healed, and refreshed. Having a problem with my back after delivery, I live from one massage session to another one. Lou is a really gifted practitioner. He has an inner feeling of what is going on with your body. He can sense the problem spots with a few touches. His treatment plan  always depends on your current condition. Using different techniques he finds a way to make you feel pain and stress  free. I highly recommend him. "
Valeriya P. (Mississauga - October 24, 2012)

"Louis is by far the best RMT that I’ve been treated by (I’ve been treated by several in the past 5 years).  He has been treating my sore
back for a few months now and after each session my back is pain-free! His experience is evident in the way he is able to treat the sore muscles and get right into the painful knots in the muscles.  He is courteous, friendly and incredibly professional.  His “In-Your-Home” service is so convenient for a working mom with almost no free time to get travel to a clinic and back.  Excellent professional service!"
Diana Wang-Martin (Mississauga - October 24, 2012)

"I sought the services of registered massage therapist Louis Bautista when I strained my right hamstring after a long run. Louis gave me a deep tissue massage on my lower limb muscles. He really loosened up all the tight knots that I had in my buttocks and legs. After the treatment, the hamstring pain was completely gone, and I was able to run again pain free. I have not had any hamstring pain since. I would highly recommend Louis Bautista for a massage of any kind."
Dr. Gerald Dumol (Mississauga - October 24, 2012)

"I started having therapeutic massages on a regular basis many years ago. On my quest for the 'perfect' massage, I have had treatments from many different therapists over the years. Having found Louie, the search is now over. Louie has been treating both my husband and myself over the past several months. Louie is a truly gifted Massage Therapist relying on his years of experience, knowledge of the musculoskeletal system, and intuition to provide a massage that addresses specific muscular issues as well as overall well being. Louie is a consummate professional and it is my great pleasure to highly recommend his service. "
